Join the ALA (or renewal)

To become a member, simply request it and pay the annual membership fee.

The Association has been using Internet for the past several years and all information is communicated electronically (by e-mail).To become a member, you just have to apply and pay the annual membership fee.

OPTION A: It costs as little as $ 20.00 a year to become a member of our dynamic association (when you subscribe by credit card or by using the PayPal ® service with annual renewal.

You will receive your access codes and the Levasseur Bulletin generally within a few hours of receiving your request.

OPTION B : For all other methods of payment, whether by mail, in cash or by transfer of funds to our treasurer, only the option of a 2-year membership is offered, in the amount of $ 40.00 .

Whatever method of payment is used (A or B):

Association members from Canada pay their membership dues in Canadian currency (CDN).
American members and those from other countries, pay for their membership dues in U.S. currency (USD).

Benefits:

He receive the “Levasseur Newsletter” 3 or 4 times per year in French and in English by Internet (Flash format for computer and tablet and also in PDF format);
He is kept informed on the latest research on the DNA of the Levasseur to determine kinship between Levasseur ancestors;
He has priority access to our genealogist to assist in genealogical research and respond to questions related to our Levasseur ancestors;
He attends the meetings and gathering of the Levasseur family;
He receives the assistance of specialists for historical and genealogical research;
He has access to the Association’s database with more than 130 000 records;
He has access to old photos section Levasseur families;
He has access to all the archives of previous Newsletters since 1988;

Conditions:

The Association undertakes to keep confidential all nominative information of its members.
It is the responsibility of the member to provide us with a valid email address and to notify us of any changes to it during the term of the subscription, as communications will be sent in the form of e-mails and not by email.
The subscription, when carried out by an electronic payment (Option A), will be recurrent and lasting one year. As an example, a member who contributes with this method on October 20, 2019 will have his subscription expired on November 1, 2020, unless the payment is made at maturity.
When payment is made by check, bank transfer or cash (Option B), the subscription will be for a minimum of two years. As an example, a member who contributes with this method on October 20, 2019 will have his subscription expired on November 1, 2021.

The member must give a positive indication of their consent to receive occasional electronic messages from the Association (all non-commercial in nature). He may request the withdrawal of our mailing list at any time.
