He describes the pioneers of St-Maurice (1831-1851), their succession (1851-1881), the consolidation (1881-1901) and modernization in the 20th century. The appendices contain analyses of the various censuses and a photo album. Following is a list of sources and the table of contents. Volume 2 (158 pages) is entitled &#8220;The lands&#8221;. He locates the first lands, then he specifies the beginnings of the pioneers, the transfer of lots and the location of these lots. In the research instruments, we find, \u00a0among others, Le censier B-2, 1888-1926, Saint-Maurice, Seigneurie du Cap-de-la-Madeleine, an exceptional compilation \u00a0by Ms. Joceline Levasseur of St-Maurice (2011)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Author : <strong>Jean-Marie Levasseur<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Title : <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Aim\u00e9 Levasseur (1850-1906)<\/strong> <\/span><strong>(<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/levasseur.org\/fr\/aime-levasseur\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Online consultation &#8211; <\/a>Reserved for our members<\/span>) <\/strong>&#8211; French<\/li>\n<li>Trois-Rivi\u00e8res, 2002, 262 pages. Volume 1 (164 pages) contains a historical sketch, a historical novel, genealogical data on Aim\u00e9 and his wife, Clarisse Levasseur, official documents, a bibliography and a detailed table of contents. Aim\u00e9 Levasseur, born in B\u00e9cancour, first experienced military life in his youth, in Canada and Europe. Subsequently, he became a farmer in St-Maurice, where he was a municipal councillor and later president of the School Board. Volume 2 (pages 165-262) contains additional documents and photos with comments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Author : <strong>Jean-Marie Levasseur\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Title : <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Les Levasseur \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res au 18e si\u00e8cle<\/strong><\/span>, Trois-Rivi\u00e8res, 2014, 20 pages.- French<\/li>\n<li>This brochure collects the essentials of a conference given in Trois-Rivi\u00e8res, on September 6, 2014, during the \u00a0Levasseur gathering. It is about all the Levasseurs who lived in Trois-Rivi\u00e8res in the 18th century, but more especially Denis-Joseph Levasseur (1712-1792), who arrived in Trois-Rivi\u00e8res in 1736 and settled there permanently. The brochure also contains information on the city of Trois-Rivi\u00e8res in the 18th century, Denis-Joseph&#8217;s three residences and the orientations of his children<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/levasseur.org\/fr\/publication-adrien-levasseur-origines-pierre-levasseur\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Author<\/a><\/span> : <strong>J.F.\u00a0Adrien Levasseur<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Title : <strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Pierre Levasseur dit Lesp\u00e9rance<\/span> <\/strong>(Not available for online) &#8211; French<\/li>\n<li>Adrien Levasseur has always had a lot of interest in history and genealogy. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. For twenty years, he studied the Levasseur families of America.
